Hi! thanks for your information ,Aloyce gave me a
quota USD900 per person for five people six days
climbing Machame route including Park
Fees,Accommodations,Transport,Food ,Guide ,Cook
and Porters salaries except Personal Use
eg.Drinks and Tips,he did not show me all the
details, but it is USD300 cheaper than the Quota
I got from Destination Africa Tour In Johnesburg
SA,how did you contact Aloyce ? by skype or
MSN ?

I din't contact with him before we go to Tanzania,just he is
arranged to be with our group .I think he is the one who can
trust ,just make sure all the details as well ,you can type the
contract and demand by your side ,Be sure, he know what you want
and you have to confirm it at least 3 times.

Hi.we decided to spend additional day on mountain to acclimatize, so it is time to prepare all the gear, we don\\\'t go mountainclimbing often, some of gears may only will use once in our life, I heard the rental gear is stink and shabby, but look at those items all so expensive,will you recommend me where we can buy most of our gear by reasonable price,can we use normal sleeping bag but wear more clothes while sleeping ? what kind of Jacket did u wear during the climbing? thanks

sorry ! it's late to reply u soon . 1. Concerning about mountain gear:first of all , Keep warm is very important when you climb to Uhuru Peak, the temperature is -20 and pretty cool once the weather become bad. At least ,you have to prpare one good quality "down- jaket " to keep you warm ,it's not just for climbing,u can have it when you stay cruel cold place. 2. can we use normal sleeping bag but wear more clothes while sleeping ? A: I can't make sure how "normal" it is, according my last experience in July , "normal down"(-0~-10) sleeping bag is enough for us .if your sleeping bag as similar as this ,yes ,you can wear others clothes once you feel cold ,actually ,for me ,it's not cold so much when I go to every campsite.

shopping store : u can go to 中山北路 "山水" ,"登山友" or 中部的鄉野情 pls make sure one thing ,ask your guide to prepare sleeping pad to everyone . you also can ask one of my friend "楊梅樹下"(pls see my blog-connection) ,he can provid u more good idea ,too . Because I can't make sure what kind of equipments you have ,it's better u can tell me more informaion.

you tip box Aloyce and Seif both give me a quote ,
Seif (he remembered you) quoted me USD200 pp more(
that is a big different) , but I thought they should
work in the same company right? a bit confused, he
offered that we will only pay him the full amount by
USD on our arrival, no deposit, it did worry me,cos
the climbing permit should be applied and pay by cash
in advance,how did you pay him? did you also pay him

Seif and Aloyce didn't work in the same company,Seif is Travel Agency you can trust as well .Aloyce is trekking guide who can arrange tour by himself and he care security very much . As I wish ,you can bargin with Seif less us200 (tell him Aloyce provide you good price)and require Seif that Aloyce be your trekking guide ,it's better you put them work together and they have to control each other . Be make sure ,how many staff you will have in trekking ,and what kind of equipment they will provide to you . I didn't pay money to Seif directly(because I paid to his boss more by internate bank) ,but I suggested him before ,do not ask people send money soon until they trust you. so ,if you trust him ,then you can pay until you arrival ,no probelm. concerning the payment of entry fee ,just paid when u on arrival . Do not worry Seif and Aloyce ,espcially Seif ,he will pr

route and seem like his boss will be our trekking

PP ? since we are taking the same route and spending
the same day on the mountain..

I've sent mail to Seif last mid-night, and confirmed him about price for you . I think he will inform you soon. Actually ,he is the one who can arrange by himself . but I don't know your details as well . I've talked to u ,last time I discuss with his company,not himself,so the price will be higher then you . Our price including 5 days safari ,total was more then 2200us dollars. As my pointview, same route not always same price , every clients has different requirment , reasonable is what we can accept ,do not forget ,what u pay will feedback on your tour ,I really don't know your goal and demand exactly. And we had 8 pax at that time ,I think it's one of the reason why you can't get lower price . Seif is travel Agency ,Aloyce is trekking guide . If you ask him the lower price ,maybe he has to negociate with other t

rekking guide who can give u
good service and lower salary ,but ,you have to take
a risk ,becuase trekking guide is very important for
trekking tour.

That's great ,but do not forget ,all the porters
need your salary to get better life with their famliy.
and respect them by the humanatic way ,if their
guide treat them bad ,you have right to remind him.
